Since 2015, Brian has enjoyed life as a Ketogenic athlete and coach. He reached his ideal body composition and now excels in CrossFit, obstacle races, Olympic lifting, and power lifting. Brian’s focus is promoting sustainable, healthy nutrition and performance advice while taking in the foods we all love.
Throughout his early life, Brian struggled to reach his fitness goals. After years of calorie restriction, his metabolism was a wreck and he was in a constant brain fog. While in college, he was introduced to the then-popular low carb/high protein diet. Despite his initial success, Brian was never able to get rid of the final 15 pounds, and he noticed his athletic performance levels dropped below his capability.
It was not until he discovered the Ketogenic diet that he finally reversed the internal inflammation that was holding him back. With Keto, the brain fog lifted and he was able to achieve his ideal body composition for the first time in his adult life.
Brian is an avid CrossFitter, and opened his own CrossFIt box affiliate in 2016. He is a strong advocate of CrossFit on Keto, advising his box members on the proper nutrition to reach their fitness goals.
